(LPAN) An annual training course to new recruits of Xaysomboun Provincial Military Headquarters (XPMH) has been started since February 10, 2017 at the Battalion 597. The opening ceremony was held under the chairmanship of its Military Chief Commander, Col. Boualaphanh Souvannapheng, and there were party-command committees, representatives from 5 offices, organizations, instructors, trainers and trainees taking part in.
(LPAN) 200 million kip of cash was handed over to Kham District Military Headquarters (KDMH), Xiengkhouang Province, passing the Minister of Defence (MOD), Lt. Gen. Chansamone Chanhyalath. The Handing Over Ceremony was held on February 20, by the representatives of SV Group Co., Ltd and Daosavanh Co., Ltd. The money will be used into contribution of the Headquarters Building Construction Project of KDMH.
(LPAN) The Leadership of Houaphanh Province (HP) led by its Deputy Governor, Mr. Khamphiew Vongsavanh, who is also the Chairman of Lao Front for National Construction of the province, had handed over some materials and cash to Battalion 585 in early February to congratulate its outstanding achievement on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Lao People’s Army Founding Day.
(LPAN) Department 49 had successfully completed its annual military training for 2016. The closing ceremony was held on February 13, 2017 under the chairmanship of Brig. Gen. Pasith Thiengtham, Deputy Director of the General Staff Department, and there were Party-Command Committee, invited guests, instructors, trainers and trainees taking place.
(LPAN) The Army Disease Prevention Institute held a meeting to review the results of implementation of Party-Political Mission for 2016 on February 9. The meeting was presided by its Political Chief Commander, Lt. Col. Sopha Syhalath.
(LPAN) Construction projects inspection operation had been conducted during late January at Division 2 and Division 3 by the Defence Ministry Inspection Committee for State Investment Projects led by Deputy Director of Inspection Department, Col. Phonexay Khounthachack.
(LPAN) The Regiment 641 has completed its new garage construction project over 70% of the plan. The project had started from January last year with the worth almost 2 billion kip budgeted by Ministry of Defence. It has been contracted by Phannavong Construction Co., Ltd expecting to completely finish in April this year.
(LPAN) Non-Commission School No.1 completed its sport competition on the occasion of marking 68th anniversary of the Lao People’s Army Founding Day in late January. The closing ceremony was held under the chairmanship of its Political Chief Commander, Col. Chandy Soulivongsack, and there were Party-Command Committees, officers-combatants and athletes joining in.
(LPAN) According to a local military source, a military training course for new recruits has been conducted at the Local Military School of Saravan Provincial Military Headquarters (SPMH) for the fiscal year of 2017. The opening ceremony was held on February 2, 2017, under the chairmanship of Lt. Col. Sopha Phoxayavong, Head of Political Office of SPMH, and there were representatives from 4 offices invited guests, trainers and new recruits taking place.
(LPAN) The Party-Command Committee of Regiment 279, recently, successfully completed its annual military training course. The closing ceremony was under the chairmanship of Col. Meksavan Keodouangdy, Military Chief Command of the regiment.
