2nd Political Theory and Party Guidelines Training Course Launched for Military Personnel

On July 13, 2026, the Army Political Theory School held the opening ceremony for the 2nd Political Theory and Party Guidelines Training Course for military personnel. The event was chaired by Maj. Gen. Deuansavanh Sayphimkhamprathoum, Deputy Director General of the General Political Department. The ceremony was also attended by Brig. Gen. Keosuvan Phangphilavong, Director of the Propaganda and Training Department of the General Political Department, alongside unit commanders, faculty members, invited guests, and trainees.
During the ceremony, Brig. Gen. Keosuvan Phangphilavong presented the preparatory report for the training course, which features a total of 100 trainees and a curriculum consisting of 14 lessons. The course includes 98 hours of theoretical instruction and 12 hours of field study. Lectures will be delivered by 3 instructors from the Propaganda and Training Department of the General Political Department and 7 instructors from the Army Political Theory School. The training focus will primarily center on theoretical lectures and Party policy documents. Additionally, trainees will visit the Kaysone Phomvihane Museum and the Army History Museum. The 15-day training course (including official holidays) commenced on (LPAN)July 13, 2026, and will officially conclude on July 24, 2026. Upon completion of the curriculum, the Training Department of the Central Propaganda and Training Committee, in collaboration with the Propaganda and Training Department of the General Political Department, will award certificates to all participants.
On this occasion, Major General Deuansavanh Sayphimkhamprathoum urged both faculty members and trainees to elevate their sense of political responsibility. He specifically emphasized adherence to classroom schedules, strict compliance with institutional regulations, and dedication to their studies to ensure the quality and successful outcomes of this training course.
