Television Expert Delegation of Chinese People’s Liberation Army visits Division 5

(LPAN) On February 6, 2020, a Television Expert Delegation of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) led by Sen. Col. Mao accompanied by Deputy Director of Radio and Television of the Lao People’s Army, Lt. Col. Somphong Kenemanisoth, visited Division 5 of the Lao People’s Army.
There the delegation was warmly welcomed by Party-Command Committee and Commanding Officers of the Division led by Chief of Political Office, Col. Sipaseuth Pheuykhamsing, which he highly valued the visit wouldimportantly contribute in strengthening traditional friendship relation as well as solidarity and cooperation between the two nations and armies Laos-China. Then the delegate was briefed about functional roles and responsibilities of the Division based on 4 major missions and 26 work plans.
Sen. Col. Mao expressed his sincere thanks for the warm welcome promising to keep on strengthening fruitful cooperation and solidarity between the two nations and armies; China-Laos forever.
After that, the both sides exchanged experience regarding to Propaganda and Training task, particularly using radio and television as important tools in providing information to get all people involved in national defence mission.
The delegation also visited the Division 5 Traditional Museum and some military units as well.
