Deputy Minister of Defence visits to give guidance to local military of Xayaboury province

(LPAN) On February 23, 2021, Deputy Minister of Defence, Lt. Gen. Souvone Leuangbounmy, visited and worked in Local Military of Xayabouly Province. There, he was warmly welcomed by Party-Command Committee, Commanding and Prominent Officers led by Military Chief Commander of Xayaboury Provincial Military Headquarters, Col. Koud Phomma.
This occasion, Lt. Gen. Souvone Leuangbounmy urged party command committees to educate officers and combatants to deeply understand the party-state guidelines and policies, especially about self-sufficiency to improve and build up strong units and maintain close relation with local authorities and villagers for maintaining security and orders in their responsible areas so that the safety was 100% guarantied. In addition they had to be on alert of combat readiness at any time to ensure national defending mission to ease Lao multiethnic people to contribute in safeguarding and constructing their fatherland.
Finally, he emphasized to the party- command committees to pay attention in political ideology education, conducting political and military training along with improving life quality of military personnel.
