(LPAN) On July 8, 2026, Lt. Gen. Saychay Kommasith, Deputy Minister of Defense, and the committee responsible for organizing the 3rd Border Defense Friendship Meeting between the Lao and Vietnam Defense Ministers on July 9-10, 2026, at Nam On, Bolikhamxay province and Vieng Thuy, Nghe An province to ensure that all preparations are ready and completed as planned. This event is an important political and foreign policy event of the two Ministries of Defense that reflects the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the Laos and Vietnam.
