Supervision Conducted on Building Three free Unit at Propaganda and Training Department

(LPAN)On July 30, 2026, a subcommittee tasked with inspecting and encouraging the building of three Free Unit "Free from Corruption, Free from Unrest, and Free from Crimes" Party units under the LPA General Political Department, led by Brigadier General Amphone Soukvixay, and Director of the Political Office of the General Political Department, visited the Party Unit of the Propaganda and Training Department to inspect and promote progress for the year 2026.The delegation was received by Brigadier General Keosouvan Phangphilavong, Director of the Propaganda and Training Department, along with the department's Party Committee, Command Board, and relevant personnel.
Colonel Sengaloun Keosavang, Deputy Director of the Propaganda and Training Department, presented a summary report on the 2026 implementation of the " Free from Corruption, Free from Unrest, and Free from Crimes" Party unit initiative and outlined strategic directions for 2027. Highlights from 2026 included notable achievements in political, ideological, and cultural work across the armed forces. The department actively guided, encouraged, and monitored military organizations, units, and local authorities in conducting political and ideological education, organizing commemorative propaganda for major national, Party, military, and international historical events, driving campaigns to create "Cultural Soldiers and Units," managing emulation and awards programs, and coordinating tasks assigned by higher leadership.
In terms of technical and operational responsibilities, the department directed eight media and political-ideological units based on evaluations, 40 Party members were designated as "Strong/Outstanding Party Members," accounting for 100% of the unit. Following the report, participants engaged in candid discussions to address remaining shortcomings, refine strategies, and ensure successful implementation according to targets.
