Military Women's Union Department GSD Review comprehensive work in first of 2026

(LPAN) On July 31, 2026, the Military Women's Union Department of the General Staff Department (GSD) review comprehensive work in the first half of this year and approved a further plan for second half of year. The meeting was chaired by Maj. Gen. Bouakham Samavong, Head of the Political Office of the General Staff Department, with the participation of departments and there were officers-combatants taking place.
This occasion, Lt. Gen. Ms. Vaiphone Bounmixay, Head of the Military Women's Union Department of the Political Office of the General Staff Department, briefly summarized the defence operation implementation having carried out by all personnel in the unit over the past six month. The performance evaluations showed remarkable achievements under the 3 good Slogans: good Citizens: 99.70%, good Development: 96.71%, good Families: 96.75%, good women type I 1,095 officers, good type II 230 officers, model family 51 families, model individuals 80 officers, good sectors 13, good units 65, good grassroots 8, and outstanding leadership groups 30.
During in the first half of the year, members demonstrated strong unity and active involvement in organizational tasks, successfully fulfilling their assigned duties.
