Army Media Units Review Performance work in First Half of 2026

(LPAN) On August 7, 2026, the Army Media Units organized a meeting to review the activities of the military media during the first six months of the year and to outline the strategic plan for the remaining half of 2026, chaired by Brig. Gen. Keosouvan Phangpilavong, Director of the Department of Propaganda and Training of the General Political Department, with the participation of the Propaganda and Training Department, offices, Party committees and command committees of the military media taking part in.
Col. Saengaloun Keosavang, Deputy Head of the Department of Propaganda and Training under the General Political Department, presented a report on the implementation of army media work. During the first half of the year, Party committees, commanding personnel, officers and soldiers of army media units maintained firm political and ideological positions and demonstrated confidence in the leadership of the Party and State. Particular attention was paid to disseminating and implementing the resolutions of the 12th National Party Congress and the 6th Congress, as well as the resolution on four major tasks and 26 programs adopted by the Party Committee of the Ministry of National Defence.
Then, representatives of the respective media units exchanged views and provided recommendations, while leaders of the Department of Propaganda and Training gave additional guidance and clarifications on relevant areas of work.
