Lao-Chinese Coordination Centre Reviews Monthly Joint Patrol Operations

(LPAN) On September 1, 2026, a meeting to review joint patrol operations conducted in August and to set the operational direction for September at the Lao-Chinese Coordination Centre in Xiengkok, Long District, Luang Namtha Province. During the session, representatives from each sector presented updates on security and law enforcement conditions within their respective areas of responsibility and engaged in constructive discussions. In the past month, the relevant authorities actively monitored the situation and worked to prevent and suppress unlawful activities along the shared riverine border.
