Lao add one silver medal in kickboxing SEAGAME 2023

Lao kickboxer in the men's under 60kg category, Soukan Taypanyavong, won a silver medal at the SEA Games in Cambodia on Tuesday after going down 0-3 in the final of the competition against his Vietnamese opponent. In the semi-final round on Monday, Soukan beat his Cambodian opponent 2-1, while the Vietnamese contestant overpowered his Philippine opponent 3-0. This will be the last time that Soukan competes at the international level. He formerly won a gold medal in kickboxing at the 30th SEA Games in the Philippines in 2019. He rose to fame earlier in his illustrious career when he won a gold medal in the muay event at the 25th SEA Games, which took place in Laos. Soukan is a veteran in muaylao and has competed in numerous national events, netting several gold medals, total 88 medal, medal gold 6, silver medal 22, and bronze medal 60, on May 16, 2023.
