Lao, Vietnamese military strengthen their cooperation

(LPAN) On July 19, 2024, a delegate of Military Company 206 Limited Vietnamese Military Region 5 (VMR5) led by its Chairman, Mr. Ngo Manh Houng, visited Division 5 of Lao People’s Army for enhancing defense cooperation. The delegate was warmly welcomed by Brig. Gen. Shipasert Phouykhamsing, Political Chief Commander of Division 5 and party-command committee there. The both sides had reviewed the achievement of cooperation and exchanged experience by re-evaluating mutual cooperation in different fields over the past year and approved a further plan. The two sides agreed to further continue to exchange information and keep on contributing in strengthening the special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations and armies, Laos-Vietnam and Vietnam-Laos in dept.
