Air Force Department appointed new Commander

(LPAN) The handing-over ceremony of the political chief commander of the Air Force Department between the old and the new was held on January 31, 2025, under the chairmanship of Maj. Gen. Khamlek Sengphachan, the Director of the Air Force Department, with the participation of the Party-Command Committee, Room Committee, Battalion702 and Battalion703 in attendance.
Brig. Gen. Bounma Chanthavongsa, political chief commander (former) briefly reviewed the leadership and supervision of all areas of actual work in the past, in successfully implementing the political tasks assigned by the higher levels and having high responsibility for the leadership of the department, especially in political work, organization, and leadership for building strong party and building force in connection with building three free Unit, building Military Cultural unit, along with implementation of 4 major tasks and 26 programs set out by the Party Committee of the Ministry of National Defense, which were seen to be successful.
After that, a handover memorandum was signed between Brig. Gen. Bounma Chanthavongsa, Political Chief Commander (former) and Brig. Gen. Tanukon Suriyasang, Political Chief Commander of Air Force Department (new).
