BGM Promotion military officers to students graduated from abroad

(LPAN) On October 30, 2025, The Border Guard Military (BGM) has announces promotion and Rank adjustment for military officers to students who graduated from Russia and Vietnam in the academic year 2025, under the chairmanship of Brig. Gen. Ounkham Sihongvongsak, Commander of the Border Guard Military, with the participation of 6 departments, Party committees, command committees, departments, and military officers who received new military officers in.
Lt. Col. Bailuet Sayavongsa, Head of the Personnel Department of the Border Guard Military, passed the agreement of the General Political Department on promotion military officers to students who graduated from Russia and Vietnam. In accordance with the Law on Military Officers of the Lao People's Army on the promotion of military officers and rank military officer equivalents. The General Political Department decided to award the military officers to 9 students who graduated from Russia and Vietnam.
On this occasion, Brig. Gen. Ounkham Sihongvongsak expressed his deep appreciation for the achievements of each comrade and emphasized that they should continue to educate themselves politically and ideologically, focus on building internal unity to become a solid foundation and increase their political responsibility to a higher level, especially in knowledge, professional skills and develop themselves to constantly improve.
