Deputy Director of Engineering Department visits Regiment 584

(LPAN) On September14, 2023, Col. Monthai Salithxay, Deputy Director of Engineering Department visited and gave guidance to officers and combatants in Regiment 584. There, he was warmly welcomed by Party-Command Committee of Regiment 584 led by its Military Chief Commander Col. Bounthavy Phoxay.
This occasion, Lt. Col. Bounluoan Khamthavong, Vice Military Chief Commander of Regiment 584 reported about the situation of Defence Mission assignment implementation including security and orders maintenance task, political grass-root building along with rural development task in accordance with 4 contents and 4 expectations, to get local authorities and people involved in national defence mission and military barracks and living condition improvement task as well as implementation of 4 major work plans and 26 projects issued by Defense Ministry Party Committee.
Then, Col. Monthai Salithxay urged the party-command committee of the regiment to be on alert and pay attention to frequently patrol the responsible, paying attention in maintaining internal unity along with building friendship and solidarity with local authorities and people and progressively building up strong militia force, and conduct training exercise to upgrade military personnel competency to successfully fulfill their political mission assignment.
