Lao young officers Exchange activities within Vietnamese Young Officer

(LAPN) On October 15, 2023, a delegation of young officers of the Lao People’s Army led by Col. Southcay Mahavong, Secretary of Military Youth Union, visited of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to exchange activities within the Vietnamese Young Officer.
The young officers for exchange and cooperation activities in 2023 program is part of the cooperation contents agreed between the Vietnamese and Lao militaries. The program is to strengthen the friendship, solidarity, and mutual understanding between the young officers of the two countries, contributing to preserving and developing the comprehensive cooperative relationship between the two states, two peoples and two militaries.
Affirming the significance of the exchange program, Senior Colonel Tran Viet Nang said that the event is to educate young people of the two countries and raise young military officers’ determination in preserving and developing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for young officers of the two countries to exchange and share experience in conducting youth movements in the military.
This occasion, delegation of young officers of the Lao People’s Army visited Quang Ninh Provincial Military Headquarters, Military Region 3, Military Technic Academy, Medical Academy and Division 1.
