Vientiane, Luangprabang and Xayabouly Provinces reviews defence-security mission

(LPAN) On January15, 2024, three Provincial Military Headquarters of Vientiane, Luangprabang and Xayabouly and two Division of Division 1 and 2 held their meeting to review their annual defence-security mission implementation in 2023 and approved a further plan. The meeting was honorably taking part in by Minister of Public Security, Gen. Vilay Lakhamphong, and there were party-command committees and concerning officers from those provinces taking part in.
Over the past year, the party-command committees of the three provincial military headquarters have carried out their defence and security mission so that they could definitely maintain security and orders and stabilize the localities. In addition, they have also implemented four major work plans and 26 projects issued by Ministry of Lao National Defence Party Committee, which they could gain good accomplishment as well. Then they exchanged their points of view in outstanding issues assessment to find the practical solution.
, Gen. Gen. Vilay Lakhamphong emphasized to the party- command committees to pay attention in building up movements focusing on political and ideological training and ideological educating to officers and combatants and keep on sending technician officers to build political grass-roots and join development project to improve local authority systems and training people on economic development in the society in order to address poverty and develop the localities into prosperity in the near future.
