Building up strong and comprehensive leadership party units reviewed by GPD

(LPAN) On May 21, 2025, Party-Command Committee of the General Political Department (GPD) held a meeting to review the implementation of building up strong units and comprehensive leadership party units movement.
The meeting was under the chairmanship of Director of the General Political Department, Maj. Gen. Vongsone Inphanphim, , and there were party-command committee, commanding and prominent officers and all party members around the GPD taking part in.
According to a briefing reported at the meeting by Head of Political Office, Col. Aumphone Soukvixay, all party-committees under GPD have paid attention in building up strong units and comprehensive leadership party units along with the implementation of five standards in building up cultural personnel and cultural military units and implementation of 4 Major work plans and 26 projects issued by Defence Ministry’s Party Committee.
This occasion, Maj. Gen. Vongsone Inphanphim gave guidance to all party members around the GPD to pay attention in educating political ideology, improving military art and skill to officers and combatants in order to fulfill all of their political missions in personnel campaigning management, conducting maintenance of equipment by checking and cleaning armored vehicles including armored tanks and armored personnel carriers to effectively ensure the mission of combat readiness.
