Two local provincial military headquarters of Oudomxay and Quang Binh boost defence cooperation

(LPAN) A delegate of Oudomxay Provincial Military Headquarters (OPMH) of the Lao People’s Army led by Militry Chief Commander, Brig. Gen. Khampouay Somphan, recently visited Lai Cau Provincial Military Headquarters (LPMH) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for enhancing defence cooperation. There the delegate was warmly welcomed by the party-command committee led by Military Chief Commander, Col. Danh Binh Thuy. This occasion the two sides met and exchanged general situation that they were mutually interested in focusing on defence cooperation, special friendship and mutual support between the two armies in particular and the two nations in general particularly two comrade-military provinces of Oudomxay and Lai Cau. In addition, the two sides agreed to keep on cooperation in maintaining security and order along the borders and they also signed a memorandum of understanding together as.
