(LPAN) On October 9, 2025, Maj. Gen. Saichay Khoumasith, Deputy Minister of Defence also Director of the General Staff Department received Lt. Col. Maria Jelion USA Military Attaché to Laos, on the occasion he was appointed as a USA New Military Attaché to Laos. During the talk, Maj. Gen. Saichay Khoumasith expressed his warmly welcome and highly valued on the accomplishment of progressive cooperation between the two countries over the past years to which strongly contributed the bilaterally fruitful development cooperation and friendly ties.
